1. Bubble Breaths
Blow imaginary bubbles together! Take a deep breath in, then slowly blow out like you’re making bubbles. It’s fun and helps slow down their breathing.
2. “Smell the Flower, Blow Out the Candle”
Ask your toddler to pretend to smell a flower (big deep breath in) and then blow out a candle (slow breath out). Repeat a few times.
3. Tummy Breathing
Help your toddler lie down and place a small stuffed animal on their belly. Watch the toy rise and fall with each breath to feel calm and focused.
4. Quiet Time with a Favorite Toy
Sit together quietly for a minute, holding a favorite toy or blanket. This helps your toddler pause and feel safe.
