How to Make It

  • A plastic bottle

  • Purple, blue, silver, and pink glitter

  • Star sequins

  • Glitter glue

  • ½ cup corn syrup

  • Water

  • Hot glue (adult use only)

How to make it:

  1. Add glitter, sequins, corn syrup, glitter glue, and water to the bottle.

  2. Seal the lid securely with hot glue.

  3. Shake the bottle and watch the glitter swirl.

How to use it with your child:
When your child is feeling upset, invite them to shake the bottle and “shake out” their big feelings. Then encourage them to take slow breaths as they watch the glitter settle. You might say, “Let’s breathe until the glitter reaches the bottom.” This helps children practice calming their bodies and focusing their attention.
